This is a weekend shift. 12-hour shifts 5:00pm- 5:30am Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You work 36 hours a week and get paid for 40 hours. This position also has a 15% Shift Differential associated with it.
Estimated annual base pay: $17.50- $21.88 (midpoint) - $26.25

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're an Associate Machinist, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Associate Machinist reports to the manufacturing supervisor and is responsible for setting up operating and maintaining a limited number of machine types, in an industrial setting. The position works under a high level of supervision, limited troubleshooting, decision-making and problem solving.
What You Will Be Doing
Adhere to all safety standards, regulations and operating procedures.
Utilize computer programs to enter part data (e.g., serial number), log time, look up instructions and blueprints and download programs.
Utilize work instructions and method documents to produce and inspect machines parts.
Utilize various gauging equipment to ensure conformance to the engineering specifications and standards through the production run.
Clean and maintain measuring instruments and test equipment and inspects parts for cleanliness (e.g., routed and deburring operations). Operates inspection equipment.
Perform routed operations of parts.
What We Are Looking For
The ability to see details (e.g., letters, numbers, codes, color, symbols, marks, labels, signs) clearly to accomplish work tasks in a safe and efficient manner and possessing strong hand-eye coordination.
US High school diploma or equivalent required
No related work experience required
Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending; and lifting or moving objects. Work is performed in an area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions, such as wearing protective clothing or gear. May be required to pass Near Vision and/or Color Vision examinations.
