The Columbus Organization is expanding its team of School Psychologists in Washington, DC. City, State: Washington, DC

Compensation: 1099 Contractor
$1200 Per Assessment

Part Time: Flexible Schedule

Facility Physical Environment: School Based - Washington, DC area.

Essential Duties: The School Psychologist will administer, analyze psychological and educational assessments, write quality comprehensive reports, and share results with IEP team members.

Qualifications:

Education:

  1. Specialist (Certificate of Advanced Study) in School Psychology or master’s degree in School Psychology or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, including the degree required 1,200-hour internship.

License:

  1. Department of Health licensure for the District of Columbia
  2. Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) issued by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) Certification Board
  3. School Support Personnel license issued by the District of Columbia, Office of the State Superintendent.

Experience:

1 year of experience as a school psychologist administering individual assessments of children in the cognitive areas, adaptive cognitive functioning, social, emotional and behavioral functioning, educational achievement, functional behavior and the creation of behavior intervention plans, response to intervention (RTI) and curriculum-based assessment/measurement.
