USD $10.00 - USD $12.00 /Hr.
Overview:
The Pool Technician will assist the Certified Pool Operator (CPO) with general upkeep and maintenance of all property pools and water features.
:
Pool Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assists CPO with regulating water temperature and levels through regular testing
Supports preventative pool maintenance efforts as directed by CPO and Chief Engineer
Assists with shut down for annual and emergency maintenance procedures
Maintains cleanliness and appearance of all pool decks
Monitors building operations and ensures sanitation codes are met; stores toxic chemicals appropriately
Sanitizes swim decks and acid-washes pool, decks, gutters, and filters; vacuums pool floors; replaces underwater lights
Collects water samples for CPO to submit for health department testing and complies with health and safety codes.
Assists with the preparation and maintenance of work requests, facility reports, and pool service and other reports.
Promptly responds to front desk reports of guest problems or concerns, informs the front desk when action is complete
Maintains all storage areas, shops, and mechanical areas in a clean, safe and secure manner, reporting to the CPO and Chief Engineer any corrective actions that need to be taken.
Keeps CPO and Chief Engineer promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance so that prompt corrective action can be taken
Other duties, as assigned by the Chief Engineer
