About the Role: We are looking for a Senior Python Developer with substantial industry experience, particularly in financial products and front-office trading. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of interest rates, FX, credit, and credit valuation adjustments (CVA). This role demands someone who can hit the ground running, as there will be no extensive training provided. Strong soft skills, including problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication, are essential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, support, enhance, and deliver software applications for the Global Markets Technology division.
  • Collaborate with technical, operations, and business teams across multiple regions using Agile methodologies.
  • Participate in software design, development, testing, and L3 support, including requirements gathering and creating functional specifications.

Preferred Skills:

  • Expertise in full-stack development with Python; experience with Quartz is a plus.
  • Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) skills and familiarity with design patterns.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of financial derivatives (swaps, futures) and risk concepts (PV, VaR, Greeks).
  • Good knowledge of testing methodologies (TDD, BDD).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in project/program delivery and vendor onboarding.
  • Background in business analysis and project presentations.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related analytical field.
