Stallant Health is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch dental care and ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient care, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, providing necessary instruments and materials.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments in compliance with infection control protocols.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions.
- Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans.
- Perform basic administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and coordinating patient flow.
- Provide chairside support and comfort to patients during procedures.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant preferred but not required.
- Dental Assistant certification or relevant dental training is a plus.
- Dental X-ray license preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Friendly demeanor, self-motivated, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both patients and the dental team.
