Our client operates six facilities near the Ports of Seattle and Tacoma, each with unique physical characteristics that allow for the shipment of a variety of freight by rail or truck. It has over 350, 000 square feet of warehouse space with 170 truck doors and 70 railcar spots.Key Responsibilities:Operate trucks and tractors to move loaded and empty trailers around the yardProvide transportation of trailers between the facility and nearby locations in a timely and safe mannerPerform routine maintenance and check-ups on vehicles to ensure smooth operationEnsure compliance with all safety regulations, including vehicle inspection, hazard perception, and defensive drivingTrack and maintain accurate records of equipment usage and inspection resultsSkills and Qualifications:A one-year experience in operating heavy-duty trucks and tractorsShould have a valid Driver s licenseGood physical health with the ability to lift heavy objectsMust pass a Background check and Drug test
