CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a National Director of Safety for an esteemed client in the Aviation industry . As the National Director of Safety, you will be responsible for being a key strategist in implementing safety procedures nationwide, measuring success of safety programs and driving engagement across the organization from executive level to front line employee. Qualified candidates will have their Bachelor's degree in occupational health or a related field, their OSHA 500 CSP or CSHM certification, 10+ years’ of experience in Commercial Aviation Safety and a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience. Requirements & Responsibilities for the National Director of Safety – Commercial Aviation:
· Bachelor's Degree in occupational safety or industrial health is required
· 10+ years of experience in commercial aviation safety
· 5+ years of leadership experience
· OSHA 500 CSP or CSHM Certification required
· Experience creating and implementing the strategic direction of a Safety department including establishing and monitoring KPI performance
· Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage all levels of the organization from executive level to front line employee
· Ability to travel nationwide 50% of the time
Compensation for the National Director of Safety – Commercial Aviation:
· Direct Hire
· Salary: $150-170K/year (+/- based on experience) + bonus opportunities
· Location: On site in Irving, TX
