About this role:
The Associate Director of Sales Enablement will be central to accelerating pipeline growth through product and role-based programs in the Global Technology Services, Global Midsize Enterprise channel. This person will own and run specific programs and/or aspects of programs with a clear focus on what our sales teams need to be successful. They will also be core to the Sales Enablement team overall, assessing top sales associate performance, identifying best practices, and translating those into actionable education and enablement resources to support sales success. The right candidate thrives in a matrix, able to collaborate with teams from Sales Operations, Corporate Marketing, Research & Advisory, Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales Learning and Development, among others, to get to the right outcome for sales associates.

What you’ll do:

  • Program Management: Lead programming for several Midsize Enterprise priorities aligned to quarterly themes that are essential to the sales team’s goals. Ensure quality outputs of deliverables by keeping critical business partners working cohesively as part of the matrixed project team. Adjust/evolve programming and content as needed.
  • Education Sessions on key buyer needs and Gartner capabilities: Own logistics, planning, content direction and facilitate monthly+ sales enablement education sessions.
  • Communications to drive activation of sales enablement in the channel: Own communications/promotions and calendar management for sales enablement programming. Collaborate with key stakeholders for coordinated messaging.
  • Operations: Manage tech infrastructure to support programming.
  • Product Launches: Support launch of new products and capabilities, from initial launch planning and execution to follow-up activities designed to deepen sales proficiency and achievement of sales outcomes. Meaningfully contribute to Product Launch meetings to represent the voice of sales and ensure each aspect of launch is sales ready. Convert launch material into steady state resources for new hires and collaborate with SL&D to bring resources into new hire training.
  • Participation and Impact Measurement: Work collaboratively with Sales Operations to analyze pipeline, product and sales data to understand how well sales is taking action against goals supported by sales enablement programs. Support monthly reporting needs to drive awareness and action. Engage qualitative feedback collection including: run win/loss interviews, identify bright spots, co-lead sales advisory board sessions in order to amplify best practices and address challenges facing sellers.

What you’ll need:

  • Previous experience in Sales Enablement or in working with/in sales to understand what drives performance and how to build solutions that scale.
  • Project and program management experience: Ability to organize and track complex projects, keep self and others on track and identify emerging issues.
  • Strong relationship-building skills: Able to effectively partner with multiple teams and leaders to influence in a matrixed environment.
  • Ability to analyze performance, identify markers of high performance and translate information into actionable insights so that it can be easily understood and used to drive change.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to create and deliver resources that can be used directly by sales in the field.
  • Curiosity: Interest in understanding complex problems to identify underlying drivers and surface interesting new approaches.
  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • 6+ years business experience in sales, sales operations or enablement, business analysis or consulting.
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Smartsheets, Salesforce, Gong.io, and Salesloft a plus.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 105,600 USD - 144,900 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
