Job Summary:
The Manager of Finance will report directly to the AVP of Financial Planning and Analysis and serve as a supervisor to the Financial Analysts. The incumbent will perform financial performance reporting and dashboard management duties including generating financial metrics data, compiling data, and submitting reports and dashboards, analyzing industry trends, and assessing the financial health of the organization. Responsibilities include overseeing the operations and development of the organization’s financial performance reporting and forecasting, preparing and reviewing financial performance reports, and advising management on financial performance and budget management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Skill in educational and financial administration systems.
- Ability to organize, plan, direct, and make sound judgment decisions.
- Experience with financial reporting, financial modeling, budgeting, and financial systems.
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
- Energetic forward-thinking individual and a team player.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to accuracy and detail required.
- High level verbal and written communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to be a team player and work independently and meet deadlines when required.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and/or Accounting.
- At least three years of management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master of Business Administration.
- At least five years of management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and/or review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports, variance reports, trend reports, KPIs, and other financial dashboards.
- Prepare multi-year financial models, scenario analysis, forecasts, plans, and projections.
- Responsible for the development of automation, lean business processes, and internal controls.
- Responsible for training, leading, supervising, and delegating assignments to staff.
- Serve as the Banner Power User.
- Collaborate with Manager of Budget with coordination of annual budget processes.
- Responsible for preparing, updating, and/or reviewing cost allocation model and allocating indirect costs.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and seminars.
- Maintain a variety of documents, files, and records.
- Provide ad hoc reporting, conduct research, and analysis for special projects.
Work Schedule:
8 am to 5 pm, M-F. May occasionally work outside of normal 40-hr work week as needed.
Expected Pay Scale:
Minimum: $90,000.00 | Maximum: $120,000.00
