Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: 2 years experience and travel experience required
License: CA License in hand required
Certifications: BLS, PALS
Must-Have: Strong Neuro skills
Job Description:
- Accepts first-time travelers
- Utilizes EPIC documentation system
- Required to float within the hospital to NICU and CTICU as needed (majority of patients are from birth to 2 years old, usually oldest is 21)
- Travelers are the first to float based on census
- Required 4 weekend shifts per month
- Not required for on-call duty
- Self-scheduling available
- Pre-approved time off is at the discretion of the manager
- Flu vaccine required, with medical/religious exemptions only
Note: Local candidates are accepted at adjusted rates.
