The Oracle OPM Expert with MES Plant Services Expertise will play a pivotal role in optimizing manufacturing processes within pharmaceutical operations. This position is responsible for managing and enhancing Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM) applications, ensuring their seamless integration with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). The ideal candidate will leverage their deep knowledge of Oracle OPM and MES to drive efficiency, compliance, and data integrity in manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oracle OPM Management:
• Lead and manage Oracle OPM applications, ensuring seamless integration with MES and alignment with manufacturing processes.
• Provide expertise in Oracle OPM functionalities, troubleshooting, and configuration to optimize production efficiency.
• Administer and optimize Oracle OPM applications, ensuring alignment with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and compliance requirements.
• Provide technical expertise in OPM functionalities, configurations, and best practices. - MES Integration:
• Collaborate with MES teams to ensure seamless integration of OPM with Manufacturing Execution Systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring data consistency between OPM and MES platforms. - Process Improvement:
• Analyze manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas for optimization using Oracle OPM and MES capabilities.
• Implement enhancements and automation solutions to improve production efficiency and reduce waste. - User Training and Support:
• Develop and deliver training programs for end-users on Oracle OPM and MES functionalities, ensuring effective usage and compliance.
• Provide ongoing support to users, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting issues related to OPM and MES applications. - Data Management and Reporting:
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy within Oracle OPM and MES, implementing data governance and validation processes.
• Generate and analyze reports on production performance, quality metrics, and system utilization for management review. - Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
• Work closely with IT, manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that meet operational needs.
• Participate in cross-functional project teams to drive OPM and MES initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives. - Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure that OPM and MES operations comply with industry regulations (e.g., FDA, EMEA) and internal quality standards.
• Support audit activities by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries related to OPM and MES functionalities. - Project Leadership:
• Lead projects related to the implementation and enhancement of Oracle OPM and MES, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. - Continuous Improvement:
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within Oracle OPM and MES operations, leveraging user feedback and performance metrics to enhance system functionalities and user experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM) within the pharmaceutical or biotech industries.
• Proven experience with MES systems and their integration with Oracle applications.
• Technical Skills:
• Deep understanding of Oracle OPM functionalities, including product definition, process execution, and quality management.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management; experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
