Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Home Supports to lead our comprehensive home support programs. This pivotal role will implement the strategic direction, compliance, ensuring that we meet the diverse needs of the individuals we support. This is a unique opportunity to shape and expand our home support programs while ensuring they align with our mission of empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement a strategic vision for home support services that aligns with the mission of The Arc of Opportunity.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to the Home Supports team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Ensure the effective delivery and continuous improvement of 24/7 Residential, AFC, ISS, and Shared Living services.
- Monitor compliance with all regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Develop strategies and monitors continuous improvement initiatives across all services within the Home Supports Department.
- Manage budgets for home support programs, ensuring financial sustainability and efficient resource allocation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, community partners, and stakeholders to advocate for the needs of individuals with disabilities.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff, promoting professional development and enhancing team performance.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive work environment that values diversity and empowerment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, business administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5-10 years’ experience in a leadership role within home support services, specifically in overseeing Residential, AFC, ISS, and Shared Living programs.
- Strong knowledge of the regulatory landscape and best practices in residential services for individuals with disabilities.
- Proven track record in program development, compliance management, and team leadership.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Passion for advocating for individuals with disabilities and promoting their quality of life.
