Job Requirements:

This position requires a minimum of 50 hours per week at your home restaurant on site. Regular work days must include Thursday through Sunday and at least 2 nights of being the closing manager. You can request weekends off as needed. We want our managers to have at least one weekend per month.

Responsibilities include:

  • Helping with a successful new restaurant opening by creating a great positive work environment, constant training & development of the hospitality standards/service steps, solid communication & leadership, and holding your team accountable to the Blast Company Standards.
  • Improve check averages through coaching suggestive selling standards.
  • Increase overall sales by coaching suggestive selling through working side by side with team members to verify that upselling, suggestive selling, and add-ons are being offered to every guest.
  • Focus on creating a strong lunch business through the new lunch menu program.
  • Focus on creating a strong dinner business through the new nightly dinner specials program and new menu rollout.
  • Setup and enforce processes & procedures to control food cost.
  • Setup and enforce processes & procedures to control labor cost.
  • Setup and enforce processes & procedures to control alcohol cost.
  • Continue to develop your management team with their leadership, communication, professionalism, accountability, and overall hospitality standards.
  • Setup and ensure high standards for our food quality, timeliness, hospitality/service standards, and positive employee behavior.
  • Setup & ensure that all employees receive proper training, guidance, feedback, and are held accountable to company policies & procedures.
  • Setup & ensure that all CCRG policies, practices, and procedures are followed and enforced.
  • Setup & ensure that we have accurate/up-to-date documentation regarding employee job performance.
  • Setup clear lines of communication between FOH and BOH in a timely manner to help build restaurant teamwork.
  • Continue to review & develop your knowledge with Aloha Backoffice, Restaurant 365, Schedulefly, Paylocity, and Indeed programs.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the data being inputted into the POS system which includes sales & timeclocks.
  • Ensure all cash handling procedures are followed – bank deposits, petty cash, & cash drawers are accurate & balanced.
  • Ensure all needed documentation/report are sent to Accounting & HR in a timely manner.
  • Setup and coordinate any holidays, store events, specials, etc. in a timely manner.
  • Setup and ensure that all our marketing avenues are being utilized (daily posts, email blasts, website).
