Human Resources Business Partner
Community Medical Center is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to act as a strategic advisor and key thought partner for our front-line managers. This important role focuses on enhancing our people strategies, aligning these initiatives with the organization's financial and talent goals. The HRBP will take charge of multiple strategic and tactical HR support programs, shaping the Human Resources landscape in accordance with the organization’s strategic plan. Compensation: $67,288.00 - $100,963.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic HR advisory services to front-line managers.
- Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives that align with the organization's strategic and financial goals.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues; conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations when necessary.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
- Provide performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
- Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs; follow-up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Support a 24/7 operation, including occasional night/weekend hours for investigations and counseling.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR Business Partner experience, specifically in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Proven experience in union environments.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively handle and protect sensitive and confidential company information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working more broadly within hospital or healthcare environments.
- Certifications such as PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP.
