The Store Auditor performs scheduled store audits in the area consisting of physical counts of inventory and assets at assigned store locations. You will ensure compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation and verify assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform inventory audits in scheduled stores dailyResearch inventory auditsCorrect improper receivingComplete cash audits on store safesCheck physical counts for accuracyTrain store personnel on correct invoice enteringCompile and provide reports as requiredMust be able to work well in teams as well as alone at timesExtensive travel including overnight/out of town travelSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayAdditional responsibilities as assignedAdheres to all company policies and proceduresQualifications: EducationA High School Diploma/GEDQualifications: Experience2 + years related experience and/or Maverik store retail experiencePhysical Requirements:Must be able to perform the following physical behaviors repetitively throughout a shift: standing, walking, handling, reaching horizontally and grasping firmlyMust be able to perform the following physical behaviors frequently throughout a shift: reaching above the shoulder, reaching below the waist, pushing buttons, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushingMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbsMust work in cold environments for short periodsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perceptionNOTE: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level or work performed by those assigned to this job.
