Position Responsibilities

1. Utility scale energy storage project financial modeling, optimization, and use case analysis
2. Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across many groups and OpCo's under the IEA umbrella (Development, Estimating, Construction, Business Development, and Optimization) to produce well-structured financial and technical models
3. Use modeling software to create reliable project financial outcomes
4. Support the development of internal tools to accurately forecast projects for our customers
5. Market analysis of energy sector and ISO trends to provide insightful current and future outlooks on project and portfolio viability
6. Proposal support
7. Support project turnover and performance testing of new facilities
8. Contract structuring and negotiation

Education

Bachelors Degree

Position Requirements

1. Degree in finance, economics, business, engineering, or related field
2. Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in energy storage, renewables, power, utilities, finance, capital markets, investment banking, development, or related industry
3. Proficient with software packages such as Excel, Power BI, and programming languages such as Python or SQL
4. Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future
