The Electronics Technician - Repairs position must assemble, test, and calibrate portable instruments used by the Utility industry to identify natural gas leaks. Ideal candidate experience would include Data Entry, Electronic repair/troubleshooting and the ability to work within a team. This individual must be willing to cross train on multiple instruments to fill in when needed.
Responsibilities:

  • Perform final testing and calibration on instruments and assemblies during manufacture.
  • Troubleshoot and repair instruments.
  • Construct components and/or subassemblies and assembles electronic equipment.
  • Complete necessary documentation.
  • Report improper operations, defective materials and unusual conditions to supervision.
  • Recommend improvements in quality, procedures, components, and processes.
  • Follow safety rules and regulations and maintains a neat, clean and orderly work area.
  • Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two-year technical degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Not afraid to learn new skills quickly.
  • 1 to 3 years' years' experience in the electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and
  • pneumatic fields.
  • Must be computer literate

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday
