The Product Solutions Manager III is responsible for assisting the product leadership team within the Product Strategy, Sales and Marketing (PSSM) service area. This role leads the ongoing operations of the assigned product lines, bridging the gap between state requirements and future state transformations. The position navigates the regulatory environment to drive performance levels and balance short-term business needs with long-term innovative solutions.

Duties

  1. Support assigned product lines in policy and regulatory efforts, evaluating changes to identify impacts to current processes and supporting implementation initiatives.
  2. Assess market strategy white papers, legal memos, legislation, and regulatory changes, providing impact recommendations and execution plans.
  3. Define product strategy and positioning, driving design and feasibility of new innovations.
  4. Conduct cost/benefit analyses and data analysis to align strategy with business objectives.
  5. Manage cross-functional partnerships with stakeholders responsible for quality measures and policy initiatives.
  6. Identify gaps in operational processes impacting quality scores, enrollment, revenue, and member retention.
  7. Develop and conduct training on unit processes for lower-tiered positions.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Required

Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration or Related Field. In lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.

Education Preferred

Master's Degree in Public Administration or Related Field.

Experience

Required: At least 5 years of relevant experience in product development/management, risk management, and regulatory guidelines.

Skills

Deep knowledge of the product development life cycle (PDLC) and ability to apply principles for new products and enhancements. Excellent interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills.

Medicare: Required experience in Cal MediConnect (CMC) / D-SNP policy and product lines of business.

Medi-Cal: Required experience serving Medi-Cal population.

Commercial Group: Required experience working in Commercial and Group Product Health Plans.
