Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Business Analyst/Project Coordinator with a Top-Secret Clearance to support Kadiak and our government customer in Washington, DC.

Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services Company, is looking for an excellent communicator with management consulting skills to perform project management work at the FBI. Our ideal candidate is logical and proactive, thinks through their activities and understands how their work contributes to Koniag’s value to the client, as well as how their work fits within the client’s portfolio of activities. They then take action to help the team deliver that value. Prior or current work experience at the FBI is desirable but not necessary.


The candidate’s primary role will be to function as a Scrum Master to the team but will also support other project management functions. The candidate must demonstrate excellent written and oral communications skills, be self-driven, and work collaboratively with the members of the project team. He/she should work with the team to help the client achieve the most mission value with the available funding. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent listening skills and ask relevant insightful questions in interactions with colleagues and clients. The candidate will be able to capture and present ideas articulately and persuasively to colleagues and clients, promote team morale, and enhance productivity.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


The ideal candidate will:

  1. Analyze various aspects of organizational functioning, including management, processes, structure, culture, and performance.
  2. Strong understanding and experience with Requirements gathering techniques, Change Management, Risk Analysis, and Metrics Reporting.
  3. Run daily Agile Scrum or Kanban based Ceremonies for the team.
  4. Identify and follow up on Action items to support the development team’s success.
  5. Coordination and audit control support for internal and external auditors.
  6. Follow established continuous auditing and monitoring procedures.
  7. Focus on understanding why and how effectively an organization, program, process, or group of people function in the present manner; how function or performance could be improved; and what should be done to bring about the improvement in effectiveness and/or efficiency.
  8. Conduct organizational or process analysis, utilizing qualitative and quantitative analysis tools and techniques. Identifying the source of problems and making recommendations for solutions including designing and implementing appropriate organizational interventions shall also be required.
  9. Apply organizational and management theory and principles to understand and improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency in achieving business goals.
  10. Assist in development and management of project schedules.
  11. Oversight and metrics on product backlog in an agile environment.
  12. Attend and facilitate a number of technical and non-technical meetings.
  13. Capture meeting minutes and hot topic items from meetings.
  14. Manage content within a SharePoint environment.
  15. Develop various SOPs as needed at the system or portfolio level.
  16. Work with all levels within the organization, from leadership and senior management to the workforce; interactions may include coaching, interviewing, workshop facilitation, training, and surveys.
  17. Test functionality of and interactions between enterprise financial systems from an end user perspective.

REQUIRED Education, Experience & Skills:

  1. Have a bachelor’s degree.
  2. Top Secret Clearance.
  3. 4 years of minimum experience (some flexibility if the candidate is very strong and/or comes from a larger firm).
  4. 2+ minimum years related experience.
  5. Logical reasoning abilities.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication.
  7. Must be very familiar with Microsoft Excel, Power BI or similar, capable of developing formulas to extract data from Excel spreadsheets or Databases to provide to program leads and metrics collection process.
  8. User of Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
  9. Experience in the management, planning, or control of Information Technology programs/projects.
  10. Familiar with adapting and applying IT methodologies.

Optional Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:

  1. Agile Certification (Scrum master or similar) *If you do not possess, we will provide training to become Scrum Master Certified within 30 days of start.
  2. MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  3. JIRA.

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.


This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.


The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
