King Global Enterprise Solutions (KGES) is collaborating with Nixon Peabody to recruit a Trademark Associate Attorney for our offices in Chicago, IL, and Washington, DC. Our Intellectual Property Practice Group provides comprehensive services in brand management, strategic trademark advice, and global enforcement. We work closely with our clients from the initial stages of trademark clearance through to prosecution and enforcement, ensuring their brands are well-protected and poised for growth. Our team anticipates potential issues and provides proactive advice to prevent disputes, but we are also fully prepared to engage in litigation to vigorously defend our clients’ interests when necessary.
Compensation
- Chicago, IL: $225,000 to $275,000
- Washington, DC: $225,000 to $275,000
In addition to a competitive benefits package, this role may offer contingent compensation based on performance, geographic location, experience, education, and other relevant factors. The provided salary range represents Nixon Peabody's estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this position.
Job Requirements
- Experience: Candidates should have two to four years of dedicated trademark experience, including expertise in trademark clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and portfolio management. Experience in advising on trademark strategy both domestically and internationally is highly valued.
- Skills: The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with strong academic credentials, superb judgment, and excellent communication skills.
