Ocean Spray Cranberries is looking for a new Data Governance Analyst to join our Tech team! In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance strategies and frameworks to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across the organization’s systems and projects. Your focus will be on defining data governance policies, standards, and processes, as well as monitoring SLA compliance and resolving data quality issues. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data governance best practices and drive data-driven decision-making. Additionally, you will contribute to data governance policy, identify opportunities for automation, and provide insight for data management improvements.
A Day in the Life...
- Support development of data governance framework and enterprise data governance policies, processes, standards and roles across systems and projects.
- Own, understand and govern the master data management process (own the rules of the data).
- Improve data capture processes to enhance business analysis and decision-making.
- Improve data accuracy and “tie-out” between systems.
- Provide clarity to filed values, calculations and reporting to improve internal understanding.
- Configure attribute workflow management using Ocean Spray’s master data management toolset.
- Identify opportunities for system automation and reduction of manual data capture.
- Collaborate with business process SMEs across departments to develop mechanisms and rule sets to validate the accuracy of data.
- Contribute to Ocean Spray’s Data Governance Policies & Procedures and share with the cooperative to ensure best practices are followed.
- Audit master and transactional data for SLA compliance.
What We Are Looking For:
- Knowledge of industry data standards
- Strong project management skills
- Intermediate understanding of data architecture concepts
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work independently when needed
- Strong “executive presence”
- Experience with SQL preferred
- Experience with Tibco EBX preferred
Education:
Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)
