Successful candidates will have a once-in-a-career opportunity to be a part of our new Residential Center for Healing and Resilience, a 64-bed psychiatric residential treatment facility (PRTF) for youth, at our beautiful 258-acre Hands of Promise Campus in Idahos Treasure Valley.As a Residential Therapist, you will be directly involved in nurturing the hope, healing, and resilience for the youth in our care at the RCHR. You will be a force for positive change in a young persons life when they need it most.Our Residential Therapists:Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessionsUtilize therapeutic techniques that are trauma oriented, evidence-based, and age appropriatePrepare psychotherapy documents encompassing all patient care and ensures mental health forms are complete and accurateProvide assessments that are consistent with the age group and population involved, demonstrates full understanding, and identifies mental health issuesMay have scheduled sessions in the late afternoon/evenings or on weekends, as scheduling is dependent on the needs and availability of the clientMust haves:Masters degree in a human services field: social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapyLicensed as LMSW, LCSW, LMAFT, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, or PhDA valid Idahos drivers license or obtain one within 15 days of hire, as a condition of continued employmentBe at least 25 years of ageWhat do we offer?
