The Donor Care Seasonal Temp provides high-quality customer service to donors in the Golden State Division by initiating and responding to questions and comments through phone calls and emails, by updating donor records and completing other documentation accordingly.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Update donor records with information coming from various sources
- Assist with donor stewardship and personalized engagement
- Verify caseload donors’ birthdays, coordinating personalized communication and ensuring timely outreach
- Adjust schedules, ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders and team members regarding any updates
- Manage donor care issues using various vendor platforms, including but not limited to Portfolio CRM, Classy, R360, and Paypoint
- Process items from the Exception Queues
- Assist with the writing and preparing thank you notes, holiday cards, and other correspondence; provide additional support to the Development team during the Holiday Season or emergency fundraising campaigns
- Assist with donor events
- Other related duties as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent (required)
- Experience as an Administrative Assistant (2 years preferred)
- Experience with Non-profit sectors (preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft programs
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task
EQUIPMENT USED:
- Modern Office Equipment and Relevant Software
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (usually file boxes)
