Lab Technician

As the Lab Technician you will support the Refinish product development team. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including preparing lab samples, applying paint, testing products, and recording data. You will work both independently and collaboratively while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Reporting directly to the Manager of New Product Development you will work onsite at our facility in Allison Park, PA.
Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safety procedures, attitudes, and housekeeping are maintained across all work programs.
• Conduct work in a manner that ensures the safety of self, co-workers, the environment, and the community.
• Maintain laboratory equipment in a clean condition.
• Complete assigned tasks and meet established targets.
• Communicate results promptly and participate in evaluating and presenting findings.
• Work both as part of a team and independently, contributing to product development efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, with successful completion of algebra and chemistry.
• Some post-high school education (college or technical school)
• 2+ years of previous lab experience.
• Collaborate with a variety of internal customers and work well in a team.
