We are seeking a Tax Manager specializing in the Financial Services industry to join our client's team. This role involves managing complex tax matters and providing expert guidance to clients in the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of taxation, a deep understanding of the financial services industry, and excellent leadership abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax efficiency and reduce tax liabilities for financial services clients.
  • Oversee accurate preparation and timely filing of tax returns, including income tax, partnership tax, and other related returns.
  • Provide strategic tax advice and guidance to clients, addressing complex issues and assisting with financial planning.
  • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, ensuring high-quality work and professional development.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to maintain compliance.
  • Conduct in-depth research on complex tax matters and offer well-founded solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication.
  • Identify opportunities for expanding services and cross-selling financial products to existing clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA highly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in tax, focusing on the financial services industry.
  • Profound knowledge of tax regulations, financial services, and relevant tax software.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
