Responsibilities:
- Providing first-class technical support for hardware and software issues across the organization.
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues promptly and efficiently.
- Performing hardware repairs and upgrades as necessary to ensure optimal system performance.
- Administering, maintaining, and monitoring servers to ensure their security, reliability, and performance.
- Serving as an escalation point for technical issues that cannot be resolved by first-level support.
- Collaborating with other IT professionals to develop and implement IT solutions and improvements.
- Maintaining the highest level of security and confidentiality in all aspects of work, in compliance with company and government standards.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends and applying this knowledge in your role.
Qualifications:
- This role requires a current U.S. government Top Secret/SCI security clearance with full scope polygraph.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar IT support role, with a focus on network hardware support, hardware repair, and server administration.
- Proficiency in escalation support and providing high-level technical support.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and understandable way.
- A strong understanding of IT security principles and practices.
- The ability to work well in a team, as well as independently, and to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
