The impact you will have:

The Sr. Sales Leader is responsible for providing leadership and execution for the AWS Agency Division and its Sales Managers across North America. Strategic leadership, strong performance management, superior execution, and mentoring of Sales Managers will be instrumental to the success of this leader. Requires inspirational leadership skills, the ability to develop managers, business and industry acumen, and customer passion.

What you’ll do:

  1. Help to build and expand AWS Agency Division, from 2 sellers to a team of 40 sellers with 4 direct sales managers over the next 18 months.
  2. Report to and collaborate with the Softchoice AWS Director to ensure this sales organization becomes an onramp for new AWS customer acquisition through a services lead methodology.
  3. Help to build and continuously improve a training roadmap to upskill reps and managers to deal with complex solutions built on AWS.
  4. Develop and improve on Key Performance Indicators for Agency model.
  5. Build strategic relationships with AWS counterpart Sales Directors and Partner Sales Directors.
  6. Model Challenger and MEDDPICC sales methodology.
  7. Manage Agency Leader performance through regular one-on-ones.
  8. Ensure that Salesforce.com hygiene and processes are followed.
  9. Initially, this role will require being a direct leader as we roll out the different pods.
  10. Conduct annual performance reviews and participate in merit process.
  11. Ensure that all team members have an actively managed career development plan.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  1. A degree in business or related field.
  2. 10+ years of sales experience with proven results, with at least 7 of those years being in a sales leadership position.
  3. AWS certifications and/or accreditations (preferred).
  4. Experience leading and growing a team.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Experience with CRM software (Salesforce.com preferred).
  7. Understanding cloud professional services is required.
