Revology Cars is hiring a Financial Controller at the Orlando, Florida facility where we build new Ford-licensed reproduction 1965-68 Mustang and Shelby GT automobiles. To be successful in this role, the candidate must have experience in business planning, financial reporting, and cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.

ABOUT THE JOB
The Financial Controller leads our finance and accounting functions to provide financial guidance informing business decisions. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is responsible for financial reporting and planning, vehicle program financial analysis, investment (CAPEX) analysis, cash flow management, and tracking and measurement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide timely and accurate monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable/accounts receivable.
- Manage cash flow to ensure effective use of cash.
- Ensure that expenses, capital, and headcount are properly planned, approved, monitored, and reported.
- Review and approve CAPEX requests, coordinate CAPEX financing if applicable, and ensure proper purchasing procedures are followed, e.g. multiple bids, proper scope of work, tax exemption applied, etc.
- Ensure accounting procedures are followed consistently; e.g. invoices for purchased items are reconciled properly, cost discrepancies between PO and invoice are resolved, and returns are processed timely.
- Manage warranty budget and payment process.
- Lead internal audit/compliance processes, provide analysis and respond to other requests from auditors to support periodic external audits.
- Oversee business analytics and KPI reporting activities including monthly variance analysis for KPIs.
- Lead annual business planning process including development of expense, capital, and headcount budgets.
- Assist management and the Board of Directors with financial planning associated with special projects.
- Oversee the migration of finance and accounting activities from Quickbooks to Syteline ERP.
- Oversee annual tax preparation and filing.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance.
- Minimum of ten years of finance and/or accounting experience, including at least five years' experience in a key finance and/or accounting role with a manufacturing company.
- Demonstrated ability to perform financial analysis and to control costs. Able to identify root causes and propose solutions to complex problems.
- CPA preferred but not required.
- Ability to streamline tasks and improve processes.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Experience with ERP implementation not a requirement, but preferred.
