Your missions:
Location: Lenexa, KS

Job Summary and Purpose:

The primary role of the reliability engineer is to identify and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant or business operations. This broad primary role can be divided into three smaller, more manageable roles: loss elimination, risk management, and life cycle asset management (LCAM).

The purpose of the Reliability Engineer will be to develop and implement Ceva maintenance standards locally in order to improve availability and cost effectiveness of equipment.

Responsibilities and Key Duties:

  1. Develop and implement maintenance reliability strategies to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
  2. Conduct reliability assessments and root cause analyses to identify and address equipment failures and performance issues.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs using advanced technologies such as condition monitoring and predictive analytics.
  4. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment reliability, performance, and lifespan.
  5. Develop and maintain maintenance procedures, standards, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  6. Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting complex equipment issues and implementing effective solutions.
  7. Train and mentor maintenance technicians on reliability best practices, procedures, and tools.
  8. Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  9. Participate in equipment design reviews and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) activities to ensure reliability considerations are incorporated into new equipment installations and upgrades.
  10. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in maintenance reliability engineering.
  11. Lead small capital improvement projects.
  12. Other duties as required.

Technical / Functional Competencies:

  1. Proficiency in reliability engineering principles, methodologies, and tools such as TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), root cause analysis (RCA), and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).
  2. Experience with predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, infrared thermography, and oil analysis.
  3. Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  4. MS Project, Smartsheet or similar PM software.
  5. Possesses a broad understanding of each engineering discipline.
  6. Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
  7. Language: English native or fluent.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
