Oracle is looking for a Director of Software Product for the Compute organization in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). We are building the next generation of cloud. Our customers run their business on our cloud, and our mission is to provide them with the best-in-class compute, storage, networking, database, security, and an ever-expanding set of foundational cloud-based services. This is a critical leadership role, and you will be responsible for the strategic direction and roadmap. You will partner with other teams to drive new initiatives and deliver new hardware products and features. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of hardware, cloud architecture and experience leading large organizations.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead a group of Product Managers defining the Compute software products and services to power the AI revolution.
  2. Manage coordination across all our organization's functions (networking, compute, architecture, etc.).
  3. Work with industry partners to develop and deliver new products while effectively communicating product strategy and functionality.
  4. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups and ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
  5. Provide valuable insights and recommendations for our Compute strategy.
  6. Lead, coach, and direct a team of product managers to build innovative Compute products.
  7. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and driving innovation within the organization.
  8. Serve as a thought leader in the hardware and software Compute products, shaping future offerings.
  9. Collaborate with multiple internal organizations, including key engineering teams, account teams, solution architects, partner organizations, and marketing teams, to drive product adoption.
  10. Partner with program management to define and implement an effective Compute strategy, including commercial strategies for monetizing revenue for Compute workloads.
  11. Engage with key stakeholders, including customers, industry experts, and internal teams, to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, shaping the product roadmap and strategy.
  12. Work closely with executive leadership to develop a robust GTM Strategy and launch new Compute products across multiple regions.
  13. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and lead executive engagements to drive business growth.
  14. Foster courteous, professional, and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
  15. Define and implement new KPIs to guide decision making and prioritization.
  16. Provide regular updates to executive leadership to influence portfolio direction and business outcomes.
  17. Set clear goals and performance expectations, working with team members to establish measurable objectives and commitments.

US: Hiring Range: from $130,000 to $291,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
