Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Thoracic Surgeon to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln . The Hospital is part of NYC Health + Hospitals . Lincoln is a designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties including its award-winning Cancer and Breast Centers. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Weill Medical College of Cornell University to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of residents and mid-level providers to cover both inpatient and ambulatory thoracic clinical practices
- Attend all thoracic surgery consults in a timely manner in accordance with policies and procedures
- Attend solid tumor conference every two weeks
- Establish and direct or co-direct a chest multidisciplinary conference as a working and teaching conference with a lung cancer screening program
- Aggressively work to build the volume of chest surgery cases (thoracic)
Qualifications
- Board certified, or board-eligible, in Thoracic Surgery
Preferred Qualifications:
- Boarded in Surgery
- Training in VATS and robotic assisted thoracic surgery
- Experience with esophageal/foregut cases including robotic assisted surgery
