We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Human Resources (HR) Director to lead our HR department and ensure alignment of HR initiatives with business goals. The HR Director will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, compliance, and organizational development. This leadership role requires strong experience in HR management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive company culture and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

  • HR Strategy and Leadership:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Lead and manage the HR team, ensuring that HR services and operations are delivered effectively and efficiently.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing guidance and support on organizational development, talent management, and change initiatives.
  • Talent Acquisition and Development:
  • Oversee recruitment processes, including job postings, interviewing, selection, and onboarding to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
  • Implement talent development programs, including training, mentorship, leadership development, and succession planning.
  • Manage performance appraisal systems that drive high performance, including goal setting and employee evaluations.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement:
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting open communication, resolving employee concerns, and encouraging collaboration.
  • Develop and implement programs to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall satisfaction.
  • Address employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Compensation and Benefits:
  • Manage and optimize compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.
  • Oversee payroll processes in collaboration with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Evaluate and recommend benefit programs that support employee well-being and company goals.
  • Compliance and Legal:
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations, including EEOC, FMLA, ADA, and other employment-related legislation.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are current and communicated to all employees.
  • Lead HR-related audits, ensuring documentation and compliance requirements are met.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting:
  • Use HR metrics and data analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and make data-driven decisions to improve performance.
  • Provide regular reports on key HR metrics, including turnover rates, employee engagement, recruitment timelines, and diversity initiatives.
  • Implement systems and processes for tracking employee performance, training, and development.

Qualifications

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a senior HR leadership role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.

$125,000 - $135,000 a year
