Description

The Manager, Exhibits oversees numerous facets of the exhibitor’s experience. They play a vital supporting role ensuring that exhibitor information, resources, and communications contribute to a seamless and successful process for ASHA's in-person events.

Travel is required throughout the year.

Responsibilities
  1. Thoroughly edit and review exhibitor profiles, exhibitor/exhibit hall information, and related resources across multiple platforms, such as Convention and conference websites, exhibitor management software, exhibitor kits and team files.
  2. Assist the Exhibits team in executing aspects of the Exhibitor Experience, including reviewing applications for accuracy, processing approvals, coordinating the distribution of comprehensive pre- and post-event exhibitor lists to all participants, managing exhibitor invoicing and collections, and managing databases within exhibitor/sales systems and for prospecting leads.
  3. Prepare exhibitors thoroughly for their experience by sending out "Know Before You Go" communications, distributing email newsletters, logistics emails, and assisting the Associate Director, Exhibit Sales with exhibitor marketing emails.
  4. Ensure the efficient management and deployment of event signage through meticulous collection, submission, review, and onsite verification.
  5. Contribute to the creation of the staff lounge form and assist in the planning and organization of ASHA lounge areas.
  6. Manage the Exhibitor Proxy Box, ensuring timely responses and delivering exceptional customer service.
Qualifications Knowledge Typically Acquired Through
  • 3-5 years’ experience in association exhibit sales and operations
  • BA/BS degree in related field, or equivalent training and experience
Scope and Depth of Technical Skills/Knowledge
  • Demonstrated project and process management abilities, including setting and meeting deadlines and effectively multitasking to prioritize and oversee multiple actions or events simultaneously
  • Demonstrated knowledge of working within exhibition floorplan software platforms (preferably Map Your Show) and ability to create and edit exhibit hall spaces, terms and conditions, service kits, run reports, gather revenue data and more; sales platforms and sales plan development; demonstrated ability to identify, learn and implement new software applications with relative ease
