Description:• Review timesheets and attendance records for accuracy and completeness.• Send corresponding request forms to the division for all separation inquiries and support the Payroll.• Specialist in obtaining completed separation documents.• Calculate payroll adjustments, such as overtime, bonuses, and deductions, with guidance and direction.• Prepare and calculate commissions to review with the Payroll Specialist before upload.• Assist with preparing payroll reports and statements.• Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve payroll issues promptly and professionally.• Reconcile payroll discrepancies and work closely with the Payroll Specialist to address any payroll related matters.• Assist and support with year-end payroll processing, including W-2 and other tax-related forms, and communicating with former/current employees about their W2 inquiries.• Maintain confidentiality and ensure the security of payroll and employee data.• Backup payroll processor, ensuring hourly, salary, and commission-based compensation is paid out accuratelyAdditional Skills & Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting, finance, or a related field is a plus.• Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar role.• Familiarity with payroll software and relevant tools• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software.• Excellent organizational and time management skills.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
