Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Lidar Government Sales and Relationship Manager at Inertial Labs, Inc. The role involves managing government sales opportunities, building and maintaining business relationships, and driving sales growth. The candidate will be responsible for the development of new government sales including DoD business across the USA.This position is based in Paeonian Springs, VA and requires on-site presence.

Qualifications

  • Business Relationship Management experience
  • Good technical understanding of lidar survey, photogrammetry, and remote sensing
  • Sales and Sales Management skills
  • Strong existing relationships in the Government arena, strong track record in Government sales
  • Sound understanding of government and GSA contracting including account structures, procurement, RFPs, and bid requests
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking, and communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical information
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years Government Sales experience is a must

Job Duties

  • Formulate sales plan to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Create goals and objectives for targeting government customers to maximize sales growth.
  •  Create and maintain proposal and contract documents relative to government/GSA schedule, projects, and contracts.
  • Serve as a company representative at major industry events, conferences, and/or trade shows.
  • Promote product knowledge by setting up meetings and offering product demonstrations to government
  • customers.
  • Travel required up to 50%.
