Avanti Restaurant Solutions, a successful, privately held, $75M company, is looking for a leader to manage the overall employee experience from hiring to onboarding, retention, and beyond.

  • At least 5+ years working as a human resource professional
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with hiring, onboarding, off-boarding, performance management, leave management, workforce diversity goals and equal employment opportunity, and training and professional development
  • Benefits administration
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Elevated level of commitment to organizational ethics, integrity, confidentiality, and compliance
  • B.A in HR preferred or current HR certifications
  • Familiarity with construction industry a plus

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand and meet the company’s staffing goals
  • Source candidates, interview coordination, hiring, and on-boarding
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • General HR Administration – FMLA, OSHA, payroll, benefits, and 401K administration
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Employee communication
  • Manage and execute employee exit interviews and offboarding procedures
  • Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations in accordance with practice policy
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program
  • Create and promote company culture through employee focused programs and events

This is a full-time non-exempt position.

Salary: $95-$140K DOE
