Primary Responsibilities:
  • Interpret plans and specifications to prepare accurate written proposals for bids.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of local material, labor, and equipment costs .
  • Stay informed on local, city, and state building codes in your assigned location.
  • Manage and train project engineers and assistant estimators, ensuring their professional growth.
  • Continuously improve your knowledge of product lines, including drywall, acoustical, doors/frames/hardware (Div 8), and specialties (Div 10).
What You Bring:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, finance, or accounting is preferred.
  • Assistant Estimator experience (2 years) or 5-7 years of overall relevant experience.
  • The ability to produce under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivation and a commitment to excellence , both personally and professionally.
