About the Role
Knowable is seeking a Full Stack Software Development Engineer (SDE) to develop and maintain high-quality software products and solutions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test software applications. The successful candidate will ensure that the software meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design software solutions.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code to implement software features and enhancements.
  • Conducting thorough testing and debugging of software applications to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers.
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve software development processes.
  • Contributing to the documentation and knowledge sharing within the software engineering team.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in software development, with a focus on front-end development OR a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and its ecosystem.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Desire to learn and expand your impact.
  • Ability to manage one’s time and, where necessary, work independently on a variety of tasks.

The ideal candidate would have experience with at least three of these (or equivalent) technologies:

  • Node
  • React
  • CSS
  • Jest or other unit testing libraries
  • REST APIs
  • PostgreSQL

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Washington: $59,700.00 - $99,500.00.
