Compensation Range $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 Annual Salary Job Description Summary: Provide direction for the division's financial operations, partner in management of the division, and manage the Region's accounting activities. Job Description: POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Demonstrate ability to perform all functions of the Division Accounting Manager position (refer to position description)Manage and administer all Division accounting functions, Human Resources/personnel management, and forecasting manpower requirements and implementing recruitment activities to maintain adequate levels of accounting personnel to support projects and/or construction requirementsReview the quality and timeliness of cost reports and field accounting information processed through Company systemsImplement standard accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP, Regulatory Agencies, and company policies; initiate corrective measures as requiredWork closely with corporate Finance and Accounting departments to ensure all necessary systems are working as intendedWork with Division management in the developing and reporting of strategic plans, goals, budgets, business planning, monthly/quarterly audits, and related financial information and monitor performance against these standardsProvide financial and/or accounting input to estimating/preconstruction department for inclusion in bids and proposalsParticipate in management, client and project meetings as requiredReview project financial information including A/R, billing, and cost for reasonablenessMonitor A/R and cash flowPerform risk management duties including file liens, check owner and subs financial conditions and sub and owner pre-qualifications, contract terms, claims, monitor insurance, bonds, and SubGuard complianceCommunicate with other departments to ensure corporate procedures regarding sub and owner billing are being followedCoordinate with operations to make sure in contract bill rates are in complianceComplete other responsibilities as assignedMINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Four-year business or accounting degree, or equivalent with advanced degree or CPA preferred.Minimum of 5 years construction accounting experience, with 3 years supervisory experienceKnowledge of and experience with on-line, integrated accounting systemsStrong analytical, interpersonal and project management skillsEffective written and verbal English language communication skillsKnowledge of PC-based spreadsheet applicationsSUMMARY OF BENEFITS: This role is eligible for the following benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company matching, Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), individual stock ownership, paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid holidays, bereavement leave, employee assistance program, pre-tax flexible spending accounts, basic term life insurance and AD&D, business travel accident insurance, short and long term disability, financial wellness coaching, educational assistance, Care.com membership, ClassPass fitness membership, and DashPass delivery membership.
