The Director of Business Development leads and executes the company's growth strategy by identifying, cultivating, and fostering strategic business relationships in the temporary staffing, contract-to-hire, and professional direct placement sectors. This role focuses on expanding the client base, strengthening existing client relationships, and driving revenue growth across all service offerings. In collaboration with the executive team, the Director of Customer Experience, and the Director of Operations, this position strategizes business growth, ensuring the company's offerings align with market demands and contribute to the organization's overall success and expansion.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of professional business development professionals.
- Oversee revenue growth plans by establishing both short- and long-term sales objectives for Staffing.
- Assist in the strategic planning process by aiding in the development of the company's sales channels.
- Identify and develop strategic business relationships with current and future clients and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Sales Playbook and Process, ensuring adherence by the team.
- Establish a system for collecting and presenting relevant client and prospect information to the Executive Team.
- Expand services with existing clients by enhancing partnerships and identifying new opportunities for collaboration and growth.
- Aggressively pursue new business opportunities that support the group's overall growth strategy, driving increased revenue.
- Direct and manage business development operations by supporting business development professionals with strategic sales planning.
- Manage multi-region opportunities by building and managing sales-specific opportunities within company business verticals.
- Collaborate with supporting departments to build comprehensive business development professionals.
- Engage in strategic planning and execute client presentations.
- Attend networking events to expand the company's reach and visibility.
- Manage team members, providing direction and sales strategy for business development professionals.
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships, fostering long-term partnerships and ensuring satisfaction with services.
Qualifications
- Valid and active motor vehicle operator's license and the ability to travel independently as needed.
- Clean background check and a commitment to maintaining high ethical and professional standards.
