The role

We are currently looking for a Senior Product Manager based in Barcelona in charge of steering the development of Stuart's Delivery Network Optimisation Algorithms. Such algorithms play a key role in ensuring Stuart's delivery network meets quality and efficiency expectations from our clients while delivering on Stuart's business goals.

You will work closely with Data and Full-Stack Engineers, Data Scientists and Product Analysts in managing the roadmap, prioritising development features, and translating the requirements of large initiatives into smaller actionable tasks.

You will join the Solver Algorithm team and will report to Marcos Chicote, Lead Product Manager , based in Barcelona.

What will I be doing?

  • Develop a strategy and roadmap to evolve the existing Delivery Network Optimisation algorithms and tools, and build new ones in a way that delivers on Stuart’s strategic goals of profitable growth, and drives clients' and couriers' satisfaction.
  • Improve the effectiveness of these algorithms and tools to deliver superior quality of service (e.g., on time rate) to our clients, and contribute to reinforcing Stuart’s position as the leader in same-day delivery in European urban areas.
  • Spearhead the adoption of new products and tools across the company by ensuring they meet the needs of each country where we operate while keeping a critical eye on any request for customisation.
  • Work with a large set of stakeholders across operations, sales, operations, data science, design, user research, engineering and more.

What do we need from you?

  • 3+ years experience as a Product Manager working on a data or algorithm product
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, get things done despite challenges
  • Ability to take initiative and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Nice to have: Experience in the logistics/transport industries
