PolyCon Solutions seeks a Real Estate Working Site Supervisor to support our Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) client. The candidate will support Service Areas and Field Offices in meeting real estate objectives for the National Airspace System (NAS). The Contractor must make recommendations for improving the project's real estate processes and will manage contractor Real Estate Analysts.
Duties:
- Collaborate with the Government Technical Interpreter (GTI) and Real Estate POC in planning and assigning tasks (to contractor employees), as well as allocating contractor resources to achieve each result outlined per the appropriate deliverable(s).
- Provide on-the-job training to contractor Real Estate Analysts by coordinating Knowledge-Sharing Sessions with the FAA Real Estate POC and/or a Working Site Supervisor counterpart; FAA will provide the contractor with the FAA Basic and Advanced Real Estate Course.
- Responsible for acquiring, managing, and/or disposing of real property to achieve the agency's mission.
- Discern when to apply new and innovative approaches, methodologies, and techniques for challenging activities/deliverables.
- Apply knowledge of laws, regulations, procedures, and policies to determine special requirements for highly complex or sensitive transactions.
- Contribute to the agency's acquisition strategy, contract development, award, and administration.
- Advise and guide State and local governments on various aspects of realty work, such as property acquisition, use, or disposal.
- Participate in and support ad hoc teams of customers, specialists, and contractors to create a complete package of requirements and documents to support highly complex real property acquisitions.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office capabilities, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, is required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to interface with customers and collaborate in a cross-discipline team environment are required.
- Excellent written skills, including a thorough understanding of grammar, spelling, and formatting; strong proofreading and editing skills.
- Must be a US Citizen or a legal resident for three of the past five years.
- Must meet eligibility requirements for a US Public Trust security clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Experience supporting the FAA is strongly preferred.
- Experience with the FAA's Corporate Work Plan (CWP) and Real Estate Management System (REMS).
- Experience navigating a KSN site or database as a user is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, well-organized, and able to work well in a collaborative team setting.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with strong time management skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a major in any field that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in the above fields.
