Responsibilities:

  • Providing outstanding services to our guests
  • Completing opening and closing duties, including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
  • Trained in the front of the restaurant
  • Input orders into the cash register system and collect payment from the custom
  • Take orders and record them in the MICROS system.
  • Prepare food and coffee beverages
  • Ensure that appliances (e.g., coffee makers) are turned on/off at the appropriate times
  • Bus coffee cart areas and tables
  • Clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day
  • Obtain change required for the expected business level and Count bank at the end of the shift
  • Complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.
  • Will be trained on cooking, using exact recipes to make all foods listed on the menu.
  • All other related tasks will be requested on a case-by-case basis.

Education

High school education/GED.

Experience

Previous experience in a hotel or related field preferred. 

Hours required

Scheduled days and times vary based on hotel needs. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Skills and Abilities

• Must be able to pass TIPS certification/alcohol awareness training and food handler training.• Knowledge or and ability to operate a computer.• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Raines is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer
