Events Bartender

As an Event Bartender, we are looking for polished individuals that can offer and maintain enthusiastic, efficient, and elevated service. A smile, good attitude, and a coachable mindset will make you successful in this position. We will provide thorough training to ensure you have the knowledge to succeed in this position. Event Bartenders are responsible for making and serving alcoholic beverages to members in an unobtrusive, timely fashion at a variety of event types, from meetings and birthday parties to dinners and cocktail parties. Please note that this is a non-gratuity-based, hourly position.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Report to work as scheduled, on time, well-groomed, and dressed in proper uniform
• Greet and serve guests in a prompt, friendly, unobtrusive and professional manner
• Set up event bars with different spirits, beers, and wine specified on the Banquet Event Order
• Keep track of alcohol inventory at each event
• Communicate members' special requests to Events Manager
• Keep service areas clean and tidy
• Uphold club policies and always provide elevated service
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of menu items offered at all events
• Polish glassware, silverware, and other serve ware at the conclusion of each event
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the manager

Requirements

• Experience making and serving basic cocktails, like margaritas, mojitos, old fashions
• Familiarity with liquor types and brands
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner
• Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal communication
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• A high degree of professionalism and excellent personal presentation
• Experience with craft cocktails is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a standing position and walk for long periods of time.
• Bartenders will regularly stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, turn, lift, walk, and carry and lift up to fifty (50) pounds.

Appearance & Grooming Requirements:
As an elevated members-only establishment, we hold both ourselves and our members to higher appearance standards. Staff are not allowed to have facial piercings, unnatural hair colors, visible tattoos, or facial hair while at work.
