Travel Nurse RN - ICU/Critical Care in Columbus, OH

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse

**Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM); Day 3x12-Hour (7:30 AM - 7:30 PM)
**Guaranteed Hours:**
**Experience:** Experience in handling oncologic emergencies and conditions like COPD, ARDS, and sepsis preferred
**License:** Must have a valid compact or state license in hand
**Certifications:** Required: ACLS, BLS
**Must-Have:**
- Experience with vents, IV starts, and telemetry
- Computerized charting experience with EPIC
**Job Description:**
- Care for adult and geriatric patients with a focus on oncologic and hemodynamically compromised conditions
- Common diagnoses include oncologic emergencies, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pneumonia, adult respiratory distress syndrome, gastrointestinal bleed, neuromuscular disease, drug overdose, consequences of oncologic treatment, pulmonary hypertension, autoimmune disorders, and sepsis
- Perform specialized procedures and treatments such as mechanical ventilation, pulmonary artery catheter placement, CRRT, arterial pressure monitoring, cardiac monitoring, chest tubes, central venous catheters, chemotherapy administration, complex medication regimens, clinical trials, and plasmapheresis
- Manage care for patients with underlying pulmonary and gastrointestinal conditions that may require bronchoscopy or endoscopy
- Maintain compliance with travel and credentialing requirements, such as fingerprinting, in a timely manner
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the multidisciplinary team
- Provide compassionate and professional patient-centered care at all times
