Company Overview: DFC Company (Dakota Fence, 3D Specialties, Sign Solutions USA, Dakota Playground, Park & Play USA, Town & Country Fence, Dakota Unlimited and DFC Property Management) is a growing specialty contractor primarily involved in residential/commercial fence, highway guardrail, fabrication, and commercial playground construction, as well as traffic control and pavement marking services. We provide services to homeowners, commercial businesses, and government entities. Shift and Time: Day Shift, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus.
Essential Functions:
  • Develop and maintain sales relationships with both vendors and customers (full sales cycle)
  • Drive and grow sales strategies to increase sales and customer base
  • Generate leads and work toward converting them into repeat customers, through research and cold-calling techniques
  • Meet and exceed all expectations and goals
  • Manage inventory counts & transactions
  • Invoice and manage accounts receivable
  • Drive retail sales including preparing estimates for all products
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient flow and order management
  • Prepare freight estimations and secure appropriate shipping logistics
  • Administer contracts for customers and suppliers
  • Conduct and keep track of customer and prospect visits and product demonstrations
  • Prepare sales and travel reports
  • Set up, attend, and exhibit at trade shows/conventions
  • Present a knowledgeable, professional, and confident demeanor
  • Works within safety guidelines at all times
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
BS or AS degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field from an accredited college is desired. Minimum five (5) years of directly related experience is required.
Experience and Skills Required:
  1. Working knowledge of construction and sales/marketing processes
  2. Working knowledge of inventory management processes
  3. Working knowledge of bid documents & contracts
  4. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office with particular emphasis on Excel
  5. Working knowledge of ERP systems & computer networks
  6. Knowledge of CRM tools (i.e., HubSpot)
  7. Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and have good overall interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
