The Associate Software Engineer will assist in the development and implementation of custom software solutions for Ardent Mills. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within a collaborative team environment. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of senior engineers to ensure the quality and efficiency of the software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Development Support: Assist in coding, testing, and debugging software applications to meet project requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers and other team members to learn best practices and contribute to team objectives.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards and security protocols.
- Learning and Development: Stay updated with emerging technologies and methodologies to continually improve your skills and the development process.
- Project Assistance: Help track project milestones and timelines, providing support to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Familiarity with .NET framework and C# programming
- Knowledge of Angular, including its core principles like components, services, and directives
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database management
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Working knowledge of agile development practices and team collaboration tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL Database, Blob Storage, and Azure Active Directory
- Some knowledge of C# and its features like LINQ, async/await, and Entity Framework
- Knowledge of cloud design patterns, microservices architecture, and containerization with tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Creating and managing RESTful APIs with ASP.NET Core
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and methodologies.

COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION: We provide market-driven base pay, based on skills, abilities, and level of experiences. Our salary ranges are broad, and individual salary will be market competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of skills and level of experience. The starting range for this position is $64,900.00 - $86,533.70, with additional earning potential possible commensurate with experience. Additionally, we believe that our team members are the reason for our success and all team members are incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and individual results achieved.
