We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Audio Engineer to join our Technology Production Services team. This role is in NYC, NY.
The Role
Our Production Services-Platinum Services Events and AV team is responsible for AV and high-profile global events.
We are seeking a VP, Technology Production Services, Audio Engineer (Platinum Services). You will possess the skills to coordinate, manage, and oversee day-to-day projects, tasks and initiatives for the Platinum Services Team enabling them to maintain and improve overall productivity of Executive event productions. You will align the team to ensure the maximum efficiency and output of Audio systems in our events spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Audio tuning in all events spaces
- Act as an A1 during high profile events
- Train other members of the team on proper utilization of audio equipment
- Work directly with AV Leads to prioritize projects, align resources and keep on track
- Provide regular updates/chair weekly meetings
- Ensure projects/tasks and daily operations are within scope and budget
- Manage and track Platinum support incidents
- Manage audit, risk and compliance tasks for team
- Coordinate Platinum support resources/ensure adequate coverage during business and off-hours
- Create/maintain Platinum Service documentation library
- Develop best practices and playbooks around high quality Event Production standards to stakeholders/collaborators/participants
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in an Events/Broadcast environment
- Experience as an A1 for high profile events
- Knowledge of Dante systems
- Knowledge of Shure Axient system
- Strong written and verbal communication competency
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience engaging with executive stakeholders, including C-suite and Boards of Directors.
- Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail, able to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines within a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work non-standard work hours due to global nature of role
- Solid organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Basic knowledge of IT systems
- Project Management experience desired but not required
