Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Drafter to join their team. As a Drafter, you will be part of the value-added services team supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting skills, proficiency in CAD software, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Job Title: DrafterLocation: Fairfield, OHPay Range: Based upon experienceWhat's the Job?Create shop drawings and programs from basic hand drawn concept sketches to architectural drawings.Utilize Cabinet Vision software to prepare shop drawings, assembly sheets, optimization cut sheets, shop lists, materials lists and detail notes.Draft fabrication and installation operations documents with total precision. Expand knowledge and functional understanding of CAD drafting software, and continuously strive to improve drawing efficiency.Work cooperatively with architects, project managers, and interior designers.Understanding of basic machine operations and distinguishing proper tooling to assign for each machining action.Create organized nest drawings to be used by the machine operator.Troubleshoot G-code and machine error codes as they relate to the CNC program.Work directly with shop floor personnel on issues and manufacturing concerns, ensuring continuous product and process improvements.Create quote proposals from these customers supplied files.Communicate directly with customers on files and quotes.Proficient in all Microsoft Office platforms (Outlook, Excel, Word, Etc.)What's Needed?Strong drafting skills with the ability to create shop drawings and programs from basic hand drawn concept sketches to architectural drawings.Proficiency in Cabinet Vision software to prepare shop drawings, assembly sheets, optimization cut sheets, shop lists, materials lists and detail notes.Experience in drafting fabrication and installation operations documents with total precision.
