We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager at Camp Lucy, the Hill Country's premier wedding and event venue. The Account Management team creates dream weddings and executes flawless events.
Job Summary
In this role, you are the client's primary contact in planning and execution their event at Camp Lucy. You will coordinate all aspects of the event in planning food, tastings, rentals, floor plan layout strategies and guestroom coordination.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Event planning and execution for all booked events at Camp Lucy
  • Execute client tastings and in person meetings with clients
  • Facilitate rental consultations via Whim Rentals with clients and planners
  • Conduct Banquet Event Order (BEO) Meetings
  • Prepare and facilitate BEO's documentation for all assigned events.
  • Complete diagrams for all events through company assigned software.
  • Maximize Catering revenues where possible through upselling opportunities.
  • Communication of event arrangements with all responsible Camp Lucy departments
  • Creation of profitable menus and distribution of client expectations to Food and Beverage Departments.
  • Coordinate catering support services i.e.. Audio Visual, décor and entertainment
  • Client contracting and effective communication to ensure repeat business
  • Participate in pre-event meetings, training and other related meeting required.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A minimum of 2 years event management experience.
  • Outgoing and comfortable meeting with clients face to face, via conference and video calls.
  • Passionate about events and able to create a vision for the client
  • Must be proficient in working on a computer, and ready to quickly learn several event software programs.
  • Organized and possess grace under pressure.
  • Adaptable to a flexible work schedule that requires weekend and holiday availability. Peak business periods may require extended workdays and weekends.
  • Strong communication skills and work under tight deadlines.
  • Must be comfortable with any commute to Dripping Springs, where office and events are located.
